This Camp will be at the
Lake Creek Youth Camp, near John Day, Oregon
Adult volunteers have no registration fee.
(All adults need to have completed safe environment training and a background check (CMGConnect) within the last 5 years).
- Cabin Chaperones - Males and Females needed
- Volunteers to help during one or more days of camp
- EMT/ Nurse / First-Aid Certified - 24 hr position for one or more days (can be "job-shared" with more than one qualified person). Nurse stipend available.
Musician(s) who can play guitar or similar string instrument. Musician(s) do not have registration fees, stipend maybe available.
Youth Leader: for those going into 10th gr+, or return campers going into the 9th gr, to help plan camp, lead some activities, co-lead cabin small group time with an adult or older youth, and befriend and encourage the youth leaders-in-training/cabin captains and youth who may be feeling shy, left out, not well, or homesick, as well as share camper observations, joys and struggles with adult chaperones and camp director or assistant camp director.
Cabin Captain or Youth Leader-in-Training: for those going into 9th gr+, or return campers going into 8th grade, to help organize cabin clean-up, befriend and encourage those in cabin who may be shy, feel left out, or homesick, and to communicate about joys and struggles in the cabin with the adult chaperones.
