• Works of Mercy
  • (Thursday) Corporal: Feed the Hungry, give drink to the thirsty, shelter the homeless, clothe the naked, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned, bury the dead
  • (Friday) Spiritual: instruct the ignorant, counsel the doubtful, admonish sinners, forgive offenses, comfort the afflicted, bear wrongs patiently, pray for the living and the dead
  • (Saturday) Create skit/presentation, record (can begin Thurs or Fri, complete Sat.
• Nature-themed activities (may or may not be part of morning catechesis - maybe be part of early afternoon, after lunch, before hike or game activities in later afternoon, or after dinner.
  • Wednesday: "Garden hat" - each small group creates a hat for their group leader - reflect the name they chose; vote for the best (parade of the leaders)
  • Thursday: wild flower or plant scavenger hunt & pressing (collect rocks & pine cones for other activities) - bio diversity/ecology
  • Friday: making paper - decorate with seeds; rock painting  - care for creation
  • Saturday: make cards for homebound parishioners using homemade paper, pressed plants; pine cone bird feeders: Sunflower butter & bird seed
• Prayer Activities
  • Daily Mass
  • Friday (after lunch) Adoration w/ opportunities to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation
  • Nicene Creed sessions will be near/in our "chapel"
  • Thursday afternoon Walking Rosary to the Logan Valley Interpretation site and Divine Mercy Chaplet on way back
  • Friday - hike "to the heights" before dinner - Bl Pier Giorgio Frassati
