James Pihl

I was born and raised in Hermiston Oregon to a Catholic family as the 6th of 7 kids where I grew
up on our farm and was homeschooled with Seton Catholic Homestudies. Growing up I have
enjoyed many various things like learning piano, showing livestock in 4H, joining the high school
swim team where I became team captain and later assistant coach.

Ever since I was 9, I have been an altar server and have loved learning more about the Mass
and all the little details about it which later has fostered more interest in my faith. The priestly life
has been enticing to me as the thought of being able to serve the Lord at a level where I am
able to bring Him to His people brings me so much joy. So here I am now, trying my best to
follow God's plan. Please keep me in your prayers as I grow in my relationship with Christ and
trusting what He has in store for me.
