On Saturday, September 21st, St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Baker City welcomed a significant pilgrimage for the Jubilee of Catechesis and Justice. Over seventy parishioners, led by Father Joseph P. Thomas CST, journeyed to the cathedral from their home parish in Ontario.Upon their arrival, the pilgrims received a warm and personal welcome from Bishop Liam Cary on the steps of the historic cathedral. The pilgrimage then proceeded with a tour of the St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Following the tour, the group spent a period of quiet reflection and prayer in the day chapel, a time for personal contemplation and spiritual renewal.The day's events culminated with a Holy Hour, led by Father Suresh Kumar Telagani. This powerful hour of adoration and prayer provided a deeply spiritual conclusion to the pilgrimage, reinforcing the themes of catechesis and justice that were central to the day's observance. The gathering served as a testament to the vibrant faith within the diocese and the ongoing commitment to both spiritual growth and active engagement with the world.
